Looking for Raid system for P2 in FCP.Would like usb3
I recently bought a Panasonic Hvx200a camera and need to purchase a reliable Raid Hard Drive set up.Im hoping to set up my mac pro 8 core system with the ability to use the usb3.0 external hard drives raided so i can have a fast reliable solution to capturing my P2 footage.P2 cards being so expensive and not much time before needing to clear them for the next job,I could use some advice.

it can be purchased now on https://www.newegg.comRAID 0, RAID 1 with USB 3.0 & eSATA. Internal power supply, RAID level configuration on the LCD front panel, all perks that content creation professionals like.
Note: The only reliable USB 3.0 product for Mac is from LaCie at present.

I guess it confuses me that you give me a link to your raid tower but say in the message that Lacie is the only reliable usb3.o.
Do you have a raid card tha you recomend.Im thinking of a 4 bay drive and if i can keep it reasonable with the card. -
You mentioned FCP & USB 3.0 in your post. At this time there is no support of USB 3.0 on the Mac except with some LaCie products, again with USB 3.0
On the STARDOM Storage side of RAIDON business, we have a 4 bay mini-SAS connected product, the ST5610-4S-U5 that will work great with a number of RAID controller cards on the Mac end, one of those cards being the ATTO R680 card, which while not cheap, will give great performance on a Mac. There are other options on RAID controller cards that will give you great throughput at a lesser cost, do some price comparison.
