I’m looking for a recipe to get smoothe slo-mo from dv footage shot with Sony Cineframe effect. The issue seems to be the simulated 3:2:2:3 pulldown? I don’t have access to AfterFX. Does FCP offer tools to make the motion linear, either before or after slomo?

Any hot plug ins that work with Cineframe?I’m playing with a Nattress “G Detect Cadence”, but haven’t got a handle on the process.

My advice would be to check out Joe’s Filters https://www.joesfilters.com/ and see if the frame or field blend will help. From what I remember, the only program that will remove the CineFrame is Premiere…
