Looking for a super reliable AVID tech to support an indie film part time. The editor and assist will each have one Media Composer (software only), and one Avid Express will be used from time to time to do punch up edits, cull lists and sorts, and basic title design/offline fx.

Any candidates must be up to speed on the latest versions; definitely OSX (Tiger) and we don’t want to use 1999 technology to do this. Wondering about the best ways to get around needing a Unity, or how critical that is.

Please send rate, resume and contact info to bi********@***oo.com.

    Thanks!

    Bill

After been given this problem 4 yrs ago, i decided to go for the Avid Media Dock on a SCSI connection. (Basically a removeable drive system. You need twice as many drives as the project requires…..Allways make sure you call every BIN a different name when working on a project at the same time, as avid will not recognise same BIN names or will but won’t open them together.
