Looking for advice with Premiere Pro to AFX and back to PP workflow
Hi I am looking for advice for a better workflow.
This is what I would like to do.
1. Shoot with AVCH Cam in 1080P 30.
2. Import via Premiere Pro.
3. Would like to send clips to After Effects for Compositing.
4. In After Effects take clips, start keying, add graphics and so on.
*5. Send a final AFX Composition back to Premiere Pro to do a final audio pass and to add lead in and out.This is what I end up doing.

*5. Export final AFX Composition via Render Queue.
*6. Import the Rendered final AFX Composition in to Premiere Pro to do a final audio pass and to add lead in and out.
(Because I can’t send my clips from PP to AFX then take my final AFX Comp and send back to PP.)Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Are you loading the audio in your AFX and relying on it there…I would just delete it from your timeline there and edit it on it’s own track in Premier. It would depend on if and how much you’re re-tracking your audio in AFX…are you re-ordering or layering the audio in AFX?

I usually just bring the audio into AFX for timing titles etc. And once I render from AFX and import into PP I erase the audio track from the file and use the original audio.
