Looking for a solution to create smoke on touchdown
Hi
I’m looking for a solution that can create the smoke generated by the rubbing tires of an airplane when it lands.

Trapcode Particular is my go-to solution for such. Smoke simulation is the other option, more realistic, but takes much more time, like on the order of 100 times longer.

Depending on the camera move you can just a track a smoke comp w/alpha.
Typically how its done if you’re in a pinch. -
I agree with Eric. I like libraries like Videocopilots Action Essentials https://www.videocopilot.net/products/action2/. I used this technique to add smoke to the tires of the car slamming on its breaks in this Best Call Lawyer Commercial.
