Arndt von Koenigsmarck also has “Cinema 4D 10 Workshop” which is fantastic. It’s a more advanced but the tutorials are detailed enough that I think it would work for you.

ok – try #2…

i have been having a lot of frustration with the anne powers book. i have cinema 4D 9.5, and it was written for an earlier version, and doesn’t account for all the changes to the software. is there a newer version of the book?

i really would like to hear any suggestions other people might have for someone trying to do this from scratch on your own.

I don’t believe there’s an r9 version of the book. If she was to do a new one I’m sure it would be for r10, so you might find yourself in the same boat.
