  • Looking for a confirmation of an unexpected Input/Sizing behavior.

In 8.2 if any type of zoom/pan/tilt applied to a clip, when “Basemem” any of the nods all of the sizing resets as well? Didn’t it used to be independent of the nodes? If it is now a nod dependent operation why does a reset happens regardless of which node the “Basemem” happens to?
    Could someone confirm?

There is a function in the Session menu – “All/Color/PTZR”. There is also a button on the control surface called Current Mode I believe.

This control the behavior of a few things:

    1. Basemem – will reset all, current node, or sizing
    2. Add Mark/Dynamics – will add to all, current node or PTZR/Sizing
    3. Copying grade from stills and memories – will copy both, color or sizing only

    Hope this helps!

mmm… i always use that button , and i usually stay parked in “color” so when i add dynamics it effect only that node ,

so basically when she use a zoom tool we should stay parked in PTZR in order to apply the zoom only to that node ?

i will try on monday …

    thanks a lot

Thank you very much. Can’t believe I could overlook something so obvious.
