long time back!
there was once an iphone app it was all about marking/flagging good takes during a shoot using time of day and then exporting the data (with some clever post formatting) to final cut so that when the time of day time-coded clips relating to them markers arrived in the edit there was a pre selected set of takes …awesome streamlining.
I’ve spent a happy hour or so fruitlessly searching ; did come across the ever frosty @davidrothweis probably referring to it here (gulp-fifteen years ago) : https://creativecow.net/forums/thread/log-while-shooting/
Its one of those great ideas that never seems to have happened ( like Stanley Myers’ water powered car )… so my point: we keenly need something like it , anyone have a lead for me please?
