I have a 68-min film that I’m trying to export in full resolution:
    720 x 576 / 25fps / Quicktime movie.

I used to run Premiere Pro 3 on a Macbook but I have upgrated to a MacBook pro and now cannot run it.
A message tells me there is an issue with my ASIO: “The previously selected ASIO driver could not be loaded, and may be in use by another application. The default ASIO driver is now in use.”

When I export it, heavy .caf and .pek files are generated on Mac HD: in User-> Library -> Caches -> Temporary Files.

The scratch disks are located on an external hard drive via USB 2.0.

The computer becomes extremely slow and it says it will take apporximately 635hours to export the video.
What am I doing wrong? How could I export my movie?

Have u setup or changed the audio configuration in preferences. ASIO could be the type of in/out for audio. I run on MacBook pro and have never seen this issue. I’d say the answer lies in working out what the ASIO situation is… Good luck.
