I had a camera come back to me from a shoot. They forgot to turn off the camera after an interview, so I have an extra hour or HD footage on a clip that I don’t need spanning two cards. I notice when I did a transfer using P2CMS off of the first card that the clip had a caution symbol and was now in 4 parts, but seams to play fine. The other card has the remainder of the clip, but I don’t need this footage. Can I safely delete this second card and will I ever have any problems with the part of the clip I want?
    Thanks

Just as long as there are no other clips that are spanned onto the second card.

Hard drives are cheap, back up both cards then reformat them.
