    Is it possible to remove logo’s from video clip’s in premiere? I have a project for a local company,the
    source mpeg has a logo of the previous author in it, but he no longer has the files without the logo included.

    Your best bet is to cover it up with a shape object from the titler, maybe another higher opacity logo.

    Depending on the location and size of the logo . . . and if the video is appropriate for this, a letterbox could also solve the problem.

    Or if it’s not terribly long or if it is terribly important, you could move into AfterEffects and use the cloning tool. Tedious very likely, but it could do the trick.
