    Yes have you tried an external firewire drive?

    Also… odd hunch… Is the keyboard the one that came with the mac? Do you have that one?

    Can you unplug the internal HD and force a CD boot?

    I’m going to try that when I get home. I think that T mode only works one way in G3’s–and it’s not the way I need….

    my G5 is having the same problems, I’ve done everything. It will, however start from a CD. Any other solutions? I don’t want to reinstall osx for fear of loosing everything. Please help.
