  Logging slow on FCP 6

  while doing some initial tests, I found that logging with the capture application is slower than on 5.04

  after finding in and out points then clicking on the log button, I get the spinning wheel for 4 seconds (sometimes but rarely instant like 5.04 does) with SD.

  With HD the wheel will spin anywhere from 10 to 16 seconds until it finally logs the clip.

  anyone else seen this?

  I’m running fcp 6 on a G5 Quad with 4gb ram and a multibridge extreme.
