Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy Logging and Transferring in Final Cut 5?

    Log and Transfer was introduced with FCP 6.

    As said, LOG AND TRANSFER was introduced in FCP 6. Before, in FCP 5, it was only used for P2 footage. In FCP 6 it was expanded to support more options. If you shot with AVCHD, or other tapeless format, you will need FCP 6 in order to import it.

    Or…if it is AVCHD, you can use Toast 10 to convert it to a format FCP can edit.
