  • Logging and Organizing Clips in Premiere?

Hi, I am new to Premiere Pro. I have been in FCPX for 3 or 4 years now. I am wanting to know if PP has the ability to allow me to tag clips of certain content across all projects, and then search clips based upon that keyword? For example, if I log alot of sports footage and want to pull all clips of touchdowns, does PP have the ability to do such a thing? If not across all projects, within the same project?

I am not looking for an explanation necessarily, just a to be pointed to a tutorial or info sheet of some kind. Thanks!

You can in your Project pane slide the Description column next to your clip name and apply a description for all your clips. Then click on the little 3 line icon up by the Project pane name. Click on New Search Bin. Under “Find” type in the description of your clip. Hit OK. Now you have a search bin with all the clips you want to use.

Is it possible to print the Premiere data out as a log?

    Many Thanks, Alan Barker
