Logging and Capturing P2
This is a long shot but I will ask anyway. I shot a commercial that had 92 clips on the P2 card. I think it takes longer to import and rename all the clips then it use to just setting IN and OUT points and then just doing a batch capture from DV tape.
Question: Using firewire, is there a way to log the clips on the P2 card from the camera using in and out points to just batch capture that?

Nope…you need to import them.
And quicker? It takes me 4 mins to import 16 min of footage (well, 8 min if you count transfer time from the card to a drive, then importing from that drive to my media drive).
