I know this question has been asked before, but I haven’t seen any solutions to it yet:

We have an XDCAM EX workflow, and use Final Cut Pro’s log & transfer to ingest the video. On the Log & Transfer screen, there is the option to add the metadata (reel, scene, take..etc) when you ingest it, which adds the metadata to the MOV file.

My question is, if I accidentally incorrectly labeled a scene, or take #, how do I go back and change it in the Quicktime file without having to reingest it? If I open the MOV in Final Cut, then the changes I make just stay in the project file, and don’t change the MOV.
