    Hi,

How do you use the contrast / pivot in log mode?
As I have tried it a little it seems that it can be used to “sharpen” lets say faces without crushing the blacks – as it stretches the values in the restriced area its working.

I have tried to recreate the “black contrast” without using the log contrast control, but it seems like its impossible.

Am I right, or how do you use this?

    Hi Margus,

I have read the new manual and know how it technically works. Im just wondering how you “use it” – creatively speaking.

I think it is the hardest thing to know what is fine creatively as all is possible.

    🙂
