  Log and transfer timecode issue

  FCP seems to be mucking up the timecode upon log and transfer. Seems like on about 50 % of the clips I import, it resets the timecode to 00:00:00:00. If I re-ingest it, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. More often screwed up than not. We are totally up to date on our software versions (which has admittedly caused issues in the past), but everything else seems to work great.

  This is happening on both P2 cards from our HPX2000, from client supplied P2 cards from the HPX300 and SD cards from the AF100 camera. just started happening recently, but I can’t tie it to any software updates or anything. There is one other workstation in the office that is experiencing the same thing. The TC looks good in the L&T window prior to import, and after import. just get messed during the transfer. I uninstalled Perian (from the control panel) but didn’t help.

  Any ideas?
