log and transfer plug-in for FCP
Hello everyone,
I am using a leopard version 10.5.8 and my FCP version is 6.0.6. I am trying to install a log and transfer plug-in for FCP so i can transfer the footage I got from my EX1 camera. For some reason, when I try to install the plug-in, it says I need to have FCP 6.0.3 minimum and won’t let me install it. I don;t get it, I am running FCP 6.0.6. Do you know what I should do to be able to install the plug-in?

First off, I’m not sure why you’re not able to install Sony’s Log and Transfer program if you meet the requirements. Don’t know if this makes a difference but are you running on an Intel Mac or a Power PC Mac?
There is another Sony program that does essentially the same thing and it’s called XDCAM Transfer. You can find this free program here:

It’s the sixth file download from the bottom of the page.

Am on an intel Mac. Thanks very much Don, I downloaded the software you gave me and it worked perfectly! I can enjoy editing awesome videos now 🙂

hi first check the source file. B’cas if you didn’t copy the all the files from the memory card it won’t transfer in to fcp
