Log and Transfer P2 Footage
Hi guys,
I’ve been having problems importing P2 footage. When I view the footage in Log and Transfer, it plays back fine. After I import it however, the footage has horizontal lines whenever the subject moves. I’ve tried messing with the Import Settings and Preferences but no luck. Can anyone please help me?

That’s interlacing. Did you shoot 1080i? or 24pA? See if clicking on REMOVE PULLDOWN helps. Or, if that was on, turn it off and see what you get.

I unchecked Remove Advanced Pulldown and Duplicate Frames and tried it that way but it was the same. I’m pretty sure I shot it 1080p 24p. Is there a way to check?

I actually shot it 1080i and 24p. Is this something I can fix in Final Cut? Maybe deinterlace? Thanks.
