    Log and transfer in older mac and fcp

    Hi guys,

    I know I’m very behind in my hardware and software:

    Mac OSx 10.4.11
    FCP 6.0

    Due to some reasons with the software that I’ve got, I cannot update FCP 6.0 to a higher version. If I need to use log and transfer from XDCAM, is there solution, like version 1.0 of the XDCAM log and transfer. If not, is the only way to transfer file to MOV is by using Mpeg StreamClip?

    XDCAM stuff do not work through Log&Transfer.
    You need at least FC.6.2 to manage XDCAM stuff.
    Then you need to install some SONY software and you will be able to use the “XDCAM Import” function in FC.
