  log and tranfer on fcp with cannon 650d

  H im new to editing with a dslr,

  so i got a few question

  1. i downloaded a new plug in from cannon to fcp so it would accept the media, but the log and transfer window still would not read my sd card,

  so i used the free eos -prgrame to get the footage of my card on to my computer – the log and transfer would not say “IOU fliming” contains unsupported media or has an invalid directory structure. Please choose a folder whose directory structure matches supported media. — so do i need to get another programe to tranfer the media—-

  —- as i had a deadline — i just importaed the footage buy import file— is this the wrong way to do it?

  2. I find the AF on filming on the cannon 650d very tricky/slow/and noisey is it best to zoom in find the right focus then zoom out? or lock it or just use mf,
