  Log and Capture: I can see the video, but FCP cant!

  I am currently trying to capture some footage from a Mini-DV tape (DV-NTSC).
  I am using a Sony DVCam deck (DSR-11) connected via firewire to a mac-pro running FCP 6.0.6.

  I can see the preview of the footage through my monitor, and I can see timecode in the log window, but when I do either a batch or a capture now, I get the error “Unable to complete the operation as there is no video”. Been wrestling with this problem for about a half an hour now, rechecking settings etc.
  Anyone know what might be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
