I videoshoot with Sony’s HVR V1U in SD format. For capturing I use a regular Camcorder. I do this to reduce the wear and tear in my expensive camera.
Will there be a quality difference? i.e; capturing quality in camcorder and professional camera.If there is a difference what is next best option for capturing my SD format footage.

No difference. The camera you’re using as a deck is simply passing the media through at the same quality level as your aquisition camera would.
