  Locking on Render

  Thought this locking issue was just with XDCAM-HD footage but now working with SD material and FCP can’t get through any renders without locking on me. Force Quit, shut down, re-start. Seems to stem back to when I let the system install new “updates”. Should have paid attention there as it seemed to have updated FCP in some way because when I open any exsiting projects in FC, it tells me the project will not be able to be opened in prior versions of FC.

  Working on FCP 6.0.2. Is there a new version and could it be the Kona 3 drivers. But would the drivers lock the system up?
