locking in video footage
hi
i just bought sony vegas 10.and a new pc laptop..
in the past i used imovie..
so i’m out of my depth a bit
i’m making a video music clip
with small pieces of footage along the timelime
there are gaps inbetween the footage which are yet to be filmed
my problem is that when insert new footage or adjust other footage
other pieces of footage move … how do i lock the pieces in place so they don’t move around when adding new bits or adjusting others?
please help this poor vegas newbie -

Turn off ripple edit.
