Rafael–you are right. I was hoping there was a mechanism/setting which would tell Avid it’s okay to
re-link to original MXF file, even though it is different than a QT. But, the exported Duck sequence, once back in Avid, wants the QT’s sourced in my FCP edit.

Paul–thanks! No, I didn’t downconvert in FCP. FCP converts XDCAM files into QT’s with matching tc from MXFs (you probably know that :-). But Avid can edit with MXF’s without converting them.

I was just trying to make friends with the Avid next to me. …it’s too much drama for now. 🙂
