Activity Forums Adobe After Effects lock selection

    You could Lock the other layers, or Solo the layer with the path. If you Solo (click the little circle on the A/V Features Column, the one with the eyeball) the other layers disappear but are non-selectable.

    Ooops, I lied, soloing doesn’t make them non-selectable.

    for the answer !
    i knew about these to posibilitys but the first is much more work as i have to switch all the time the locks – i thougth there should be a more easy thing. the second suggestion has the disadvantage that i can

    Yeah, just like yikesmikes said, lock the other layers. I believe on nabscripts.com you can find a script that can help you make that easier and provide some sort of selection set functionality.
