Lock object to position of a Mograph clone?
Hi all,
Is there a way to get the output position of a cloned object?
I have animated some effectors to effect a small group of clones. Basically i’d like to be able to lock an object to the global position of a specific clone. Is this possible?
I’m experimenting with the Matrix Object and Xpresso, but no luck yet.

Thanks once again. I managed to figure it out from your email and now have a working setup whereby I can Lock a null to a specific clone which can be selected thru the nulls userdata…
I’m very new to Xpresso and really appreciate your pointers. I can see using expresso with MoGraph is openeing up even more possibilities.

Actually figured it out. If anyone else reads this thread this is how we did it.
We made a cloner and do whatever you want to it. Then add an xpresso tag and open up the editor.
Drag in the cloner. Then make a new motion graphics>data node. Pipe the object parameter into the object parameter of the data node. Then pip the position of the data node into a null. Select the data node and in the attributes panel you can change what index number (which object in cloner) you want to use. The null will dynamically change when you change your index number.
