  • Locating the center of radial gradient?

Posted by Dave Cook on August 3, 2015 at 6:39 pm

I want to center a graphic over a radial gradient. How can I determine the X/Y coordinates of the center of the gradient and how can I align an object over this–either automatically (an align command?) or manually (duplicating X/Y coordinates?).

    Thanks,
    Dave

If you’re not trying to get a mathematically perfect alignment, you can select the fill with the gradient tool, which shows the center point, put two guides to show the location then use the bounding bow of the graphic to align it to the guides.
