loading 16gb P2 cards into PCI on G4 laptop
Just got back from shooting an interview in Colorado using two 16gb P2 cards. Shot the interview with my HVX at 720PN 24P spanning both cards. The entire interview was right at 80 minutes.
My problem was the my G4 17″ laptop wouldn’t load the cards. It has no trouble loading either my 4 or 8gb P2 cards, but won’t launch the 16’s.
I had to use the camera with FW to launch which worked fine.
Has anyone else had a simular problem, and if so, were you able to solve it?

You need to load new drivers from Panasonic’s site in order for it to read 16Gb. cards. I don’t remember the address offhand, but it’s been posted several times in the Panasonic P2 forum.
