LiveType to Motion Conversion
Now… Before you guys go nuts. I already know the answer. But this is rather silly.
Why is it that someone out there has not created a plugin or program to convert LiveType files to Motion files?
Yeah, I know…. Its two totally different programs using totally different settings and protocols.
Funny thing is…. you can take a LiveType file (if you have it installed) and drop it into Motion and see it just fine. But you cannot convert this Livetype file into a Motion file.
You have to FULLY recreate the file from scratch. This is a total waste of time. Older projects will have LiveType files and now, FCS, doesn’t have LiveType. I have to install LiveType from my FCS2 discs, type in the product serial numbers to have it registered and THEN I can use it.
After all this mess, I can now see what the LiveType file had in it SO that I can recreate this in Motion. That can take a good part of a morning or afternoon.
