June 29, 2008 at 4:35 pmHey Dan,
You showed some character there, that’s nice.
BTW with LiveType (and this is for the original poster too) I have always rendered my titles, as there are usually more than one in a job, so my LiveType projects always have a bunch of layers as a result, So I just turn them on in turn, and render each.
HTH!
Have a wonderful day.

June 30, 2008 at 3:56 pmIf you go to 6.0.3 and QT 7.5, I think you will find that it works again. It appears to have been QT 7.4.5 that broke it. We first saw that when 6.0.3/7.4.5 were installed. It affected more than LiveType… all the chroma keyers stopped working as well…

June 30, 2008 at 11:28 pmI’ve been waiting for time between projects to upgrade from QT 7.4.5, OS 10.5.2 and
FCP 6.0.3. All done this morning and you are correct sir, Livetype now works
in timelines without rendering the livetype files before importing.
To me this saves a step of rendering twice. Also I can “open in editor”, the livetype title
directly from the timeline which also saves time. Now I see this afternoon there is another new OS, 10.5.4, but I think I’ll wait a little bit
before upgrading to that version.Thanks,
Dan
