live type font question???
hey again
I did a whole bunch of stuff in live type using a specific font. However, when i go to use the same font in photoshop, it wont come up because its CYRILLIC! ie Russian. its not a live font, its a system font, and when i look at the font in Font Book, it shows up as Cyrillic
apparently, live type substitiuted some western font for this one, but i cant figure out which font it used as a substitiute . How do i find out?
workflow wise, we want to hand off all the non live type graphics to an in house Photoshop guy, and the client LUUUVS this font.

her i go talking to myself again:
fixed the problem.
our resident font expert sez that there is no substitution going on, that its the western version of that particular font, and that for some reason the western version does not show up anywhere else, such as photoshop, font book, whatever
soooo.found a font that looks a lot like it and moved on
it helps sometimes to be under the same roof as a bunch of print designers
thousands and thousands of fonts, all mac compatible etc
