I ordered the FCS2 upgrade and all went smoothly. I also recently ordered a new MAC. I will need to install FCS2 on the new machine, BUT for reasons I don’t want to get into depth about (let’s just say mailing the originals to Apple for the crossgrade did not work well for me), I don’t have my original FCS disks.

As far as I could tell Live Type was not in the upgrade disks. Can anyone fortell the problems I might be in for?

    Thanks,
    Mike

LiveType certainly installed here from FCS2 discs. Along with GBs of media I’ll never use. Have you tried the install yet?

Yes, I installed the upgrade. I just don’t recall seeing Livetype as an option to install.
I am hoping that the FCS2 upgrade is the same as a fresh install and you don’t need to have FCS HD installed, just the origninal serial #.

Well, I guess if you look in your Applications folder either it’s there or it isn’t…
