  • “Live Photoshop 3D” import checkbox seems to be missing from AE CS6

When you import a Photoshop file which contains a 3d object there was a checkbox in AE CS4 thru CS5.5 for “Live Photoshop 3D” which of course would bring the object in as a 3d object. I’m not getting that option in CS6 Mac. Any ideas? I’ve imported the same psd file into 5.5 with the expected results (3d).

That feature wasn’t ready for release–they’re working on adding it I believe.

I was just watching lynda.com’s “After Effects CS6 New Featureswith Chris Meyer” and he mentioned that this feature in not included anymore. They (adobe) made several changes to photoshop and AE that made this not compatible anymore. He didn’t give any suggestions that they are working to get this feature back.
