Live capture with matched time code
I have had several FCP users inquire about our AEC-BOX-2 unit to use for capturing live video into AJA or BlackMagic hardware along with the time code. The BOX reads LTC and transfers into the “RS422” path as if it were a VTR. This has also been reported to work great for time lapse recording. Please let me know if you have any quesitons. It is possible to capture live (uncontrolable) video into one or more MAC/FCP machines in such a way that all of the time code tags match each other. Works for multicamera
shoots. No VTR required.No Message Signature used…….
