I should also mention that after installing Lion, your system may seem EXTREMELY sluggish for the first hour or so as indexing and other functions seem to take over a lot of cycles.

The info on the new drivers on the BlackMagic website does not include FCP X in the “supported” list but in the next paragraph it mentions FCP X which is a little confusing. Have you tried it?

Yes, there is still no output from Black Magic via FCPX. Supposedly, it is coming.
Hopefully the implementation will be better than the rather brain dead one currently in place.

Like most everyone, I suspect, I want the external feed to mirror the viewer, not replace it. My external broadcast monitor is slightly elevated for clients to see more so than me.
