Linking Rorke drives in Media 100
Well, I’m back with another Rorke problem. I am using an old Media 100 system on a G3 Mac, with an old Rorke Data Max Array LVD. For a long time I was just using two drives in the tower, but recently added back four of the old drives which had been in storage. My problem is that the added drives show up as “stripes”, and I am able to access them and add them to the projects in the media set-up, but the computer doesn’t like to access them when I try to play media, and it keeps crashing. I know that years ago I had somehow linked all the drives together, but I can’t remember how to do it! I’ve looked in CharisMac, Raid, etc, but can’t figure it out. Any suggestions, oh Wizards?
