  • Linking Photoshop CS2 Adobe Bridge with AE 6.5 Pro

I have had AE 6.5 Pro for about a year and just recently installed Photoshop CS2. PS comes with Adobe bridge, but I noticed that I can’t open files with the bridge in AE 6.5, Is there a way to link these two programs so that I may use bridge with AE?

You need to have all your components installed from the same copy and version of CS and not mixed/seperate ones. Install the AE 7.0 that comes with the Creative Suite. If the Serial Numbers are from different installs it wont work.

Generally you have to uninstall Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and even Adobe Bridge, and then install all of them from the same copy of CS2.

Like arson said, it won’t work unless you have all the same versions. AE 6.5 has no hooks to Bridge, so it doesn’t know what to do with it.
