linking menu buttons to PDF files

You can link to chapter points but not to PDF files.

You can include PDF files on the disc, but the user would have to use a computer to browse to the file to open it.

What if you convert the PDF file to Jepeg or some other format? Then can you link to the image?

Yes, you could do that if you put the JPEG files in a slideshow or timeline and link to it from a menu button.
