Linking Audio to AF ProRes files for singel sub clips
Hi Everybody,
my problem is a bit complicate to explain, but I try my best:
I recorded some dance shows, part of a festival.
The audio of the pieces I recorded inside the camera (AF101) as reference and apart on my H4n ZOOM Audio recorder (4 Channels – 2 Stereo Mic & 2 Line in from the Mixer of the theatre).
Now, I am editing a short trailer/doc of 10min about the festival.
I have hours of dance shows, from which I will pick just short moments and parts (e.g. as inserts to interviews).
If I record full shows, with 2 Cams it’s easy: I line up the external recorded sound, sync it and it’s just there throughout the editing. But in this case, I am make subclips from the good moments, which I will use then for the trailer. How do I get the Audio under that? My complicate way would be, to open a new Seq, put on each sequence a show, line up the right audio to it, link the audio to my video file and make the sub clips from that.
Any faster way?Thanx a lot.
