    Good day!

I have a MAIN COMP with a nested comp in it called “MAIL”. Inside the nested comp, a layer has the “CHANGE COLOR” effect. What I wanted to do is create a NULL LAYER in the MAIN COMP and link the NULL LAYER to the nested comp’s CHANGE TO COLOR effect. Basically, the NULL LAYER will act as a MASTER CONTROL for color changing.

I’ve seen this done in an AE Project file for sale. I don’t have any solid background in expressions and I would really want to learn how it’s done.

I am still studying Dan Ebbert’s blog on expressions.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!
