  • Link position of two textlayer with a space of 10px

Posted by Nico Mähler on January 11, 2010 at 8:16 pm

    Hello,

is it possible to link the x-position of two textlayers with a little space of 10 px between the layers.
I have to create many timetables.

    09:00 Start Room 200
    10:00 Pause Room 201
    11:00 Training I Room 202
    12:00 Training II Room 202

The subject (Start, Pause, Training) has another Fontstyle then the rooms.

Is there an expression which can help me to solve my problem?
    Thanks
    Nico

So you want to line these tables up, left-to-right with the same y position with a 10-pixel horizontal space between the tables, is that correct?

Although there is an expression hack that allows you to determine the extents of a text layer, you’d probably be better off using a script (unless your text changes dynamically).

    Thats correct.

11:00 pm Start -> 10 px Space <- Room 200 I import the text from a external text-file. Thanks nico
