Link Playheads between 2 timelines.
I use After Effects as a finishing tool in my RED workflow, and do all my final color correction shot by shot. There are times when I need to make an edit change, and I have to reimport my timeline to add all the effects to my new edit. What I usually do is open up both After Effects Timelines at the same time so I can compare clip by clip and see what effects need be copied. It would be great if there was some way I could link the relative position of the playhead position, so when I scroll the playhead of one timeline it moves the playhead of my other timeline accordingly. Does that make sense? Any ideas?

If you relate the comps by placing one in the other and have *synchronize time of related comps* in your preference dialogue box set…that should work.
