I digitized all of my video (from three tapes) into a project. For some reason, everytime I get out of the project and back in the media is not linked. It reads media offline. Is there a reason why this is doing this? Also, is there a way to link it all at once instead of each clip individually. I’ve been tempted to delete them all and re-digitize everything.

If you are keeping your media on a network or an external HD, that may be the issue. Once you have all the media linked up, use the project manager and select “copy to a new location”, see if that solves it.

Where is this media being stored? Make sure that the drive letter is not changing.

It is in an external hard drive. I will try your suggestion. Do I have to re-link the media one clip at a time. That will take forever.

    Thanks for your help

As Aanarav mentioned, go to the drive properties and change the letter to the one that was used in the original project. You may have to try a couple of them if you are not sure what it was.
