  • Link back to homepage after playing a QT Movie

I have a web page I built in Iweb. It has a number of short quicktime movies on it. Each move is on a different page. After playing I would like each movie to link back and open the homepage after they have played. Anyone have any ideas.

    Thanks alot

Linking, redirecting, and lots of other functionality is built into the Quicktime specification, but no friendly user interface was ever built for it.

+ the only ways I know of, is to use Quicktime’s flash integration to create an SWF wrapper for your movie that loads the home page when it’s finished playing, or

+ create a SMIL file for your Quicktime movie.

both of those are fairly old, and not possible through iWeb. Someone else may know of a newer/better route.

    Thanks Jameson

I’ve decided to convert all the movies on the page to Flash movies. Is there a way to imbed each movie with a URL. I’m not very familiar with flash. Which programme should I use

    Thanks alot
