Line/Path Animation
There’s this line i’ve been trying to re-create in AE but i haven’t been able to i’ve tryed thoese effects
– Stroke
– Vegas
– 3D StrokeBut i coulnd’t make it the same. Basicly the color ain’t really a problem since i belive it’s done by using ramp and the glow it’s just probably that “Glow” but the problem comes at animating the path.
The line goes from Thick to a Thin and so on until the end of the path. Here’s an example.

The source quality was pretty bad so i coulnd’t get anything better then that.
Does anyone know’s how i could make this effect? Maybie not using a path? Something else? Can’t figure anything out at the moment.

3d stroke should be able to do what you are after- check out this tutorial:
