    Hello,

I created an animation in AE and I’ve been asked to add an LTC to it. I was told to generate one using this site:

    https://elteesee.pehrhovey.net/

What I got was a screechy WAV file that I’m meant to import into said project folder (and mute, I assume.) Anything I export with this new track will have the correct audio timecode.

    My questions are:

Is all I have to do? And will the LTC wave file work with AE or do I need to import the whole thing in FCP or Premiere?

    Thanks,
    O

    I gotta admit, it’s a weird request.

Won’t the screeching wav be an issue? And by “export an audio track” do you mean a separate one from the video?

    Thanks Dave!

[Dave LaRonde] “These days it’s an odd request to be sure.”

LTC is still surprisingly common in live events as show control. It’s a simple way to lock different playback systems together.
